Formula 1 racer Liam Lawson stated he came dangerously close to a potentially fatal accident during Sunday's Mexico City Grand Prix when two marshals crossed the track directly in front of him
The concerning event took place on the third circuit when marshals were spotted on the circuit as Lawson was rejoining the race following an quick visit to the pits to replace his compromised front wing
