Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window
A jet ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.
"The plane landed following standard procedures and everyone onboard, among them Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative commented in a online announcement.
He was traveling back from a quick journey to Brussels during the flight.
This event is not the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet transporting a senior official has encountered technical problems.
Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to head back to Washington DC after suffering a technical issue.
